Just thought I'd open my blog with a recent mission of mine to get my Netgear wg511t rev2 pcmcia card working with wesside.
The problem was ack frames are broken with version 0.9.3.3 of the madwifi-ng drivers, they aren't 10 but 8 byte in size. The end result is two clear bytes at the end and wesside never gets a complete ack.
I've posted the drivers over at remote-exploits forum and the guy's over there are having trouble so it looks not as clear cut as I thought. Most are complaining of freezing and not injecting packets so it looks like some cards may have other issues.
I've patched the madwifi-ng drivers to write the ack correctly and they are working on my card. Here are the drivers.
